DEPAIVA IS "NAKED"
It's been a labor of love for ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Kassie DePaiva (Blair), but her new CD is ready and available to thrill her fans. A talented singer, DePaiva is very proud of her latest project. "This album has been a lifetime coming," she says.
Writing and performing music has always been a big part of DePaiva's life, and the songs on the CD reflect the music that's in her heart. "It's got a country flavor, because that's my roots, but the music is from my heart. The music has a strong woman's point of view. I dedicated the album to the women in my life who have inspired me."
The song "Simply Love" was performed by DePaiva on OLTL, but that wasn't the only time she sang it. "I co-wrote it for Harley and Alan-Michael's wedding on GUIDING LIGHT. I sang it with Jamie Goodwin (Johnny)."
DePaiva's also proud that husband James (Max, OLTL) sings a duet with her called "Natural History." "Jimmy has a beautiful voice and I wanted to do a duet with him. 'Natural History' just fit our lives." |
